Organized by the European Respiratory Society, the Respiratory Failure and Mechanical Ventilation (RFMV) Conference is the only event in Europe entirely dedicated to respiratory failure. The conference brings together the latest updates on acute and chronic respiratory failure in pediatric and adult patients, while promoting a multidisciplinary approach to improve care and treatment.
RFMV 2026: The European Conference on Respiratory Failure and Mechanical Ventilation to be held in Rotterdam
The 2026 edition will be held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from February 12 to 14, 2026, with online participation also available. The call for abstracts and clinical cases closed on October 15, 2025, while early-bird tickets will remain available until December 1, 2025.
The RFMV 2026 program will be divided into two main tracks, dedicated to acute and chronic respiratory failure, respectively. Joint sessions will also highlight multidisciplinary approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory failure.
The conference is aimed specifically at pulmonologists, pediatricians, and all professionals involved in the care of critically ill patients.
